Black is the new black for this penthouse at 360 Zi Meridian Street, East Boston. The "midnight-themed" apartment (as described in the list) runs through: black doors and black tiled floors, black window decorations and a stylish black kitchen.

"The bold black theme, I think this is a truly unique design that we don't see in Boston," said Ryan Acone, the listing agent of EVO Real Estate Group. "I think, coupled with the 12.5-foot ceiling, it really feels magnificent."

The three-story building underwent major renovations after being severely damaged in a three police fire in 2017. Now, the 1,036 square foot unit is on the market for $699,495.

The living room, kitchen and two bedrooms of this two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment are all covered with wood flooring with herringbone patterns. Three floor-to-ceiling windows and a glass door in the living room face the harbour, allowing a lot of natural light to enter the shared living room and kitchen space. The door leads to a deck, and the stairs lead to the ground.

In the kitchen, say goodbye to white countertops and subway tile backsplashes. Double-layer cabinets, backsplashes, chandeliers, polished granite countertops and islands are all black, and stainless steel appliances and modern farmhouse sinks create a chic look.

The bedrooms are under the hall, with closets (one with walk-in) and en suite bathrooms. One bathroom has a separate shower and a vanity with two sinks, and the other bathroom has a shower/bathtub combination and a single sink vanity. Both have black tile floors and black polished granite countertops.
