Eating your way around the world at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival can add up fast! We understand those who are worried that all those tasty bites might break the bank. Even if you visit with a firm budget in mind, it can be easy to get carried away in the sea of treats and sips offered by the festival.

I would be lying if I said I hadn’t looked up from the remnants of a bao bun only to realize that I’d blown my budget and only made it halfway around the world. If you want to make it round-trip, check out our 2022 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival price estimates along with some helpful money-saving tips below.

This may be obvious, but you can’t enjoy all that the 2022 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has to offer if you can’t get into EPCOT! Those who aren’t Passholders will need to purchase a ticket to gain access to the park. Tickets to EPCOT vary in price based on a range of factors such as:

During the festival, you can expect tickets to range in price from $100 to $200. Tack on another $15 to $50 if you want to maximize your ride time by using Genie+ or Individual Attraction Lightning Lanes.

While you make your way around the world, you might spot a familiar chef peeking over an awning or waving from a nearby window sill. World-renowned chef Remy waits for you at each festival booth , and you can receive an exclusive prize for spotting him!

This is one of our top things to do at the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival. Grab a scavenger hunt map from Connections, Pin Traders, Gateway Gifts, Disney Traders, World Traveler, and other marketplace booths scattered around the park. The map comes with stickers that depict ingredients that match the ones that each Remy statue is placed next to and can be purchased for $9.99.

Not only is it a fun activity the whole family will enjoy, but there are also prizes in it for you! This year, the prize is a choice of one of four lenticular cups depicting Tiana, Remy, Mickey, or Figment!

What’s better than a scavenger hunt to find Remy? A scavenger hunt to find cheese! Remy’s lovable sidekick Emile is less interested in sourcing ingredients around the globe and more interested in collecting as many cheesy delicacies as possible during his very own “Fromage Montage” .

Using your festival passport as your guide, choose five of the featured dishes and collect a stamp at each booth you visit along the way. Once you receive five stamps on your passport, head on over to the Shimmering Sips marketplace to collect your prize!

In true Emile fashion, t he prize is a mouthwatering Strawberry Cheesecake DOLE Whip served up in your very own souvenir cup!

The cost of the Fromage Montage varies based on which treats you get, but we suggest budgeting between $30 and $45 if you’re planning on collecting these ooey-gooey cheesy delights.

While dishes at the festival tend to stay under a reasonable $10, it doesn’t hurt to know which are the cheapest. We’ve gathered some of our top picks for cheap dishes at the 2022 Food and Wine Festival below. (P.S. – items marked with a 🧀  are part of Emile’s Fromage Montage!)

The five cheesy dishes above are our favorite dishes to complete Emile’s Fromage Montage on the cheap – which means you’ll make these budget-friendly dishes even more affordable by snagging a free dessert and souvenir cup!

With all that cash you’re saving on choosing your dishes carefully, you’ll have some wiggle room to splurge on the more expensive treats calling your name. Here are some of the most expensive dishes at the fest this year:

Don’t forget that the priciest items at the Food & Wine Festival will typically be alcoholic beverages, so you’ll want to sip rather than chug to save some cash!

Now that you’ve got an idea of how much the festival might cost you, you’re almost ready to hit the park. But don’t miss out on these penny-pinching tips before you set off to globe-trot!

Portion sizes make all the difference when it comes to getting the most bang for your buck. Sure, the braised-beef poutine will cost you $9.50, but it also offers up enough sustenance to fill a belly or two! We suggest keeping our honest staff reviews on deck while strolling the pavilions if you want to be sure you’re getting your fill.

Nothing tops eating great food while listening to live music! Take advantage of the free live music played by legends and locals alike while chowing down all throughout the Festival. Some notable names include Hanson, Kenny G, Sugar Ray, Boyz II Men, Ray Parker Jr., and Joey Fatone! Check out the lineup here.

Some people (and by “some people,” I mean myself) aren’t so great at maintaining their budget, so we have to trick ourselves into not going overboard. The surefire way to ensure you don’t overspend is to purchase a gift card at the front of the park and load it up with that sweet, sweet dough (no, not that dough; metaphorical dough!). Only put the amount you intend to spend on the card and use it at the festival booths and voila , you can’t break the bank!

As you can see, the real cost of EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival is up to you! Some will opt to choose a few pricey dishes and savor the flavor, while others will maximize their budget and belly room with the cheaper eats mentioned above.
