You may have considered coloring your car windows professionally, only to find that it is too expensive to meet your budget. If this is the case, you may be looking for an affordable alternative that can teach you how to color your car windows with a simple step-by-step guide.

Tinted windows in your vehicle can provide multiple benefits. Although the most obvious advantage is that it provides an extra sense of privacy for you and your passengers, there are other benefits, including reduced heat inside the car, prevention of interior fading, and reduced glare.

Window tinting can also protect you from the side effects of ultraviolet rays. There are two types of ultraviolet rays-UVA stands for type A ultraviolet rays and UVB stands for type B ultraviolet rays.

Both UVA and UVB rays can cause sunburn, and they may be a factor in the formation of skin cancer.

UVA rays can also accelerate the skin aging process, leading to signs of premature aging, such as skin wrinkles. It is known that exposure to UVB rays can cause various skin cancers, including melanoma.

Before you start coloring your windows, research different brands to find the one that suits you best. Some brands are more suitable for professionals and may require professional installation to meet their warranty requirements.

Before you start, you need to prepare a few items to complete the installation process. You will need window cleaner, hot water spray bottle, tape measure, flat-edged razor, small spatula, window tinting film, and the application solution that came with the window tinting film.

Once you decide to paint the windows, the first and most important step is to prepare the windows by cleaning them properly. It is best to do this in a closed space (such as a garage) to prevent any dust from falling on your windows. Take time to clean the windows thoroughly and at least 3 times to ensure that the glass is completely clean.

Window tints or films are usually in rolls. Measure your windows a few times to make sure you have the correct dimensions, then cut a piece of film for each window, leaving at least 2 inches of margin on each end. You can cut off the excess when applying the tone.

Use the spray spray provided with the window film and remove the adhesive. Make sure that the adhesive is facing the window, and apply it from the bottom of the window and smooth it out when using it to prevent air bubbles from forming under the window film. Use a flat-blade razor to cut off the excess.

You may want to go to YouTube to find and watch some videos about the tint of the installation window. Search for videos with a large number of views and positive reviews.

Use a squeegee to smooth out any bubbles or creases. When you work from the center outwards, use a spray bottle filled with hot water to apply it to the film. Cut off any excess film.

Your window tinting film should include instructions on how to maintain it and which cleaning agents to use. Most window tinting film manufacturers recommend that you should not shake down the windows for at least three days after installation.
