Here's what you can expect to get if you pick up the Industrial Loft Kit.

Many kits in The Sims 4 focus on a specific design idea, time period, or overall vibe and feel. The Industrial Loft is no different in that regard, giving you the option to create an industrial-looking place.

The items are dusty, metallic, and feel unpolished by design. This is more of a kit created to be used for a specific purpose. Luckily, it succeeds at that specific purpose, to a huge degree.

While only one bed is included in this kit, it's a well-designed one. With metal bars for a frame and wooden slats, it feels like a bed that would perfectly fit a rustic, more minimalist bedroom.

The swatches help a lot, with thirteen variations in color and design. This bed is sure to fit any color scheme you're building your loft around.

The kit also includes one type of stool. The design is nice, with the feet bending backward for a minimalistic look, and rivets showing on the backboard.

The swatches give you several wood shades for the back and change the pillow color as well, making it a decent addition to the catalog.

There is one sofa and one chair in this kit, obviously designed as a set. There are twelve swatches for each, and they match, making them an easy insert to the room you're building if the design matches your desire.

The furniture is framed by rustic pipes and houses large wooden planks, inside which are the pillows. The color options are great, and this makes for a cool set.

The kit has a single rug as well, allowing for some flourishes on the floor. The design itself is simple, with a jagged rectangle and not much texture.

The swatches provide eight flat colors and four more colorful options. This is more of a useful item than an intriguing one, for sure. It also matches well with a huge range of styles beyond just this kit.

A single-style fan is also part of this kit. With three blades made of wood and a metal base, this fan feels minimalist and it fits the vibe.

The swatches unfortunately don't add too much, giving variations on the base design — barring a few more colorful options. However, you can at least match your color scheme.

You'll get a set of matching large glass doors and arching large windows in this set. Obviously, these represent the empty, large architecture of the loft life pretty well.

While they match, the swatches themselves leave a bit to be desired. There are only six swatches in this kit, and are all of subdued, neutral colors.

Unlike the aforementioned glass door, the sliding door included in this pack feels more substantial. A design that could easily pass as a nightclub entrance, a barn door, or a loft entry, the door looks good.

The swatches also change both the hue of the metal sheets and the wooden accents, which give it more character.

The kit also gives the players a matching set of dresser and nightstand, each with seven swatches. The design is very fitting, with lots of metal framing encapsulating wood materials.

The colors and hues are all warmer wood tones, barring the cream option. There could surely be more colorful options, but these are sufficient items for what they are.

The industrial loft kit gives players lots of tables, including a side table, a coffee table, and a bar-height dining table. All three look good, and are usable in lots of interior designs — not just the rustic loft life.

Each of them has eight swatches, and they match lots of items from the base game and certain other packs. The side table looks very interesting too, with a wheel on one side instead of legs.

No loft would be complete without some low-hanging, metallic lamps, and luckily the kit does include some. With two variations in height, these lamps with an overall vibe beautifully.

They have nine matching swatches and the colors are actually pretty diverse, not only providing different metallic shades. These could easily fit a regular home as flair, too.

The kit also brings a classic item used in many architectural lofts, the exposed pipe. There are three pieces of ceiling vent pipe and one that stands upright, perfect for placing next to a wall.

These are a great addition in terms of decoration, as they fit the kit perfectly and fill a gap in the Sims catalog. Now you can build those fancy restaurants or houses that have the planned cheap look, no matter where they're located.

Speaking of exposed pipes, there is also a wall decoration with gears and pipes intertwined. This is a cool addition as well, reinforcing the loft look.

Unfortunately, the swatches leave a bit to be desired, changing only the valve color and only adding various wood shades to the background. The gears don't even change at all.

The kit also comes with a single wall vignette or poster, but don't be fooled by its number — it comes with three variations in look and fifteen swatches in total.

This is the perfect wall decoration for such a kit, and it's dirt cheap. You could easily throw this on any wall to age the place up just a little.

There are two different plants in this kit and both look pretty great, to be honest. The plant stand is large and will take up some room, but will totally give the room a greener look. The swatches are mostly subdued and keep the green while changing little.

The potted plant, however, lives through the swatches. The leaves and pot both change colors, and the colors are drastic. There are pink, black, orange, and white variations, so it's sure to stand out.

The final item in this kit is the terrarium. it's a small decoration piece but a nice looking one all the same. There is a hook on top, but unfortunately, it only stands on surfaces.

The swatches are nothing incredible, changing the metal and the flower inside. There's some good attention to detail here, but it's barely visible most of the time.
