New Delhi: According to reports, Ola Electric has postponed the second purchase window for its electric scooters S1 and S1 Pro from the earlier scheduled date of November 1, 2021 to December 16, 2021. In the first purchase window (September 15th and September 16th, 2021), the company has sold S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters worth more than 11 billion rupees. Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro electric scooters can be booked through Ola Electric's official website. S1 is available in porcelain white, new mint, coral, jet black and marshmallow colors. Ola electric scooters are equipped with standard features, such as LED headlights with LED DRL, LED taillights, LED turn indicators, electronic steering control locks, 7-inch touch screen instrument cluster with 1.8GHz Octacore processor, light-shielding armrests, flush foot pins , 12-inch aluminum alloy wheels and a brake disc at each end (220 mm at the front and 180 mm at the rear). They support WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS connections and OTA updates. However, functions such as hill hold, cruise control and voice assistant are only available for Ola S1 Pro. The Ola electric scooter uses a powerful 8.5kW motor that can generate 58Nm of peak torque. The S1 is equipped with a 2.98kWh lithium-ion battery, while the S1 Pro is equipped with a 3.97kWh lithium-ion battery. The battery is fixed.

The Ola S1 is priced at 99,999 rupees (ex-showroom). Ola S1 Pro is priced at 1,29,999 rupees (ex-showroom). Both electric scooters are eligible for FAME II and state subsidies. In New Delhi, after all subsidies, the price of Ola S1 dropped to 85,099 rupees (ex-showroom), while the price of Ola S1 Pro dropped to 1,10,149 rupees (ex-showroom).
