Jackson isn’t the first star to covet the property, a cosy cabin in a secluded, woody area. She purchased it from Maroon 5 keyboardist, Jesse Carmichael and it was previously owned by Canadian singer-songwriter k.d. lang. 1950s Hollywood heartthrob Rock Hudson was another previous owner.
